When I got the phone call asking me to shoot photos for SDPix, I was so excited! It was a great opportunity to put my studio lighting skills to work. Since it was the February issue, I thought it would be awesome to have a Valentine’s theme for all the pics. I chose to photograph Tug for the cover because he’s sexy and well, he’s such a great guy. And wow, he is effortless to shoot. We had such a great time.
For the centerfold photo, Ryan and I would come up with funny ideas with a list of characters and brought together the concept of having everyone doing something crazy in one photo. I wasn’t sure if it would even work, but we had a backup plan of shooting the photo in thirds if not. We ended up doing the final photo only 3 times on a 3-2-1 countdown and it just magically all timed right.
